Serendipity
It's all a part of something. Everything. Another number in an eternal equation. A chance to be a part of something greater. Like Isaac Newtons apple, it became something more than itself. Not the goal, but a part of a larger series of events that lead to greatness. In that, it too had greatness in it, even though it was only an apple.
What about the shoes that brought Newton to the tree? Without those shoes he may not have ventured there under the apple. And the rain that fed the tree, to produce the apple. The dirt to hold the tree, the wind to blow the apple free, the ants that stopped him from sitting on the other side of the tree, aren't these things great themselves? All a part of something, never without purpose, never without meaning, never without being part of something greater.
Ser in Catalan, derived from vulgar Latin is "to be".
Serendipity
To be - end - i - pity
There is never an end, the apple never just falls, the shoes are never just bought, the rain is never just rain, nor the wind just wind, dirt just dirt, an ant just an ant.
We are all a part of something of greatness, even if we are unaware of what that greatness is.
If there were to be an end, I would think it such a pity.
I'm starting to believe in Serendipity.
I'm starting once again to believe in God.
