1st dimension is length only, no width or depthimagine a line between two points.
2nd dimension is length and width. Imagine a jack on a playing card.
3rd dimension is what we are in. Length, width and depth.
4th dimension is time. Time that is length only, no width or depth, just a line from one point to another.
Anything after the 4th dimension is purely philosophy, but one can imagine a continuation from the other three dimensions. Time to us is the distance between time A and time B, just like the 1st dimension.
In the 5th dimension one could imagine time as length and width like the 2nd dimension, where time can exist from point A to point B and point C. Kind of like the shape of a Y. The problem with imagining this is because we are indeed from the 3rd dimension. So just like a jack from a playing card would only be able to perceive or comprehend our existence in his two dimensional world, we in the 3rd dimension can only perceive time in the fourth dimensional sense. When in all actuality, through a continuation of philosophy and parallel concepts of dimensions and continuation for that matter, time itself may exist as not a straight line between two points, but as a spatially located sphere which all time and life exists within.
Those who would live in the 6th dimension and onwards where time has length, width and depth, would actually have the capability of stopping time, rewinding time, or continue in whatever direction they could possibly want on it.
We could live in the 6th dimension together and stop time whenever we desired.
Oh God I wish we could.
