You shall be struck by wonder and terror at my success.
A glass lies still, a clear liquid filling it half ways, motionless, still, calm, untouched, and unchanged by the world around it. Without an outside force, it would stay this way, untill the end of our existance, till the end of time itself. The glass and it's contents exist, it is matter, it takes up space, it is real, but it is not special.
A mind lies still, a lump of neurons, synapses, electric movement, motionless, still, calm, untouched, and unchanged by the world around it. Without an outside force, it would stay this way, untill the end of our existance, till the end of time itself. The mind and it's contents exist, it is matter, it takes up space, it is real, but it is not special.
A small crystal is nothing special. It is small and insignificant. Unless of course, it is used for what it is truely meant for. The crystal-seed.
If this crystal-seed is dropped into the glass, into the saturated solution, it provides a nucleus around which the solution may crystalize. In other words, once this small insignificant crystal-seed is dropped into the soloution, it multiplies exponentialy, manipulating the soloution into one large crystal 5 times the volume of the water. This also happens rather violently, breaking the glass with the force of the expansion.
If this crystal-seed is dropped into the mind, into the saturated synapses and electical movment, it provides a nucleus around which the mind may expand. In other words, once this small insignificant crystal-seed is dropped into the mind, it multiplies exponentialy, manipulating the mind into thousands of different ideas 1000 times the volume of the mind. This also happens rather violently, breaking our reality with the force of the expansion.
The mind, not so different from the glass of liquid, can become something so much more then percieved by the simple insertion of a crystal-seed. Weather this crystal-seed be an idea, an inspiration, a moment caught in time that tugs on the reality of your existance. Whatever this crystal-seed may be, it has changed my life, my mind, and my views on the world which surrounds me. I do not remember what my crystal-seed was, all that matters now is that it was placed in my mind, making something that could have been so dull, turn into something that i believe to be so magnificant.
